The following Terms of Service govern Tapestry of New York (“TNY,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), including its website, related domains, affiliated mobile sites or applications, and all related services, features, functionality, and content (collectively, the “Site”).

BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY, AND ANY MODIFICATIONS THERETO.

1. General Rules and Definitions

  • Approval code issuance and validation
  • Student submissions
  • Media uploads (image, video, text, or other formats)

Tapestry of New York reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Restrictions on Use of the Site and Services

A. Age Requirements

C. License to Use Submissions

However, by submitting content to Tapestry of New York, you grant TNY a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to:

  • Use
  • Reproduce
  • Edit
  • Modify
  • Publish
  • Display
  • Distribute
  • Promote
  • Create derivative works
  • Share across digital, print, broadcast, and social media platforms

This license includes use for educational, promotional, and programmatic purposes without additional compensation.

You further grant TNY the right to display the student’s first name and last initial, school name, grade level, and submission details in connection with the work.

D. Moderation and Removal

TNY reserves the right, but has no obligation, to:

  • Review submissions before publication
  • Edit formatting or presentation
  • Reject or remove content
  • Suspend or terminate access
  • Revoke approval codes

We may take these actions at any time without prior notice.

Publication of submissions is not guaranteed.

4. Approval Code System

Approval codes:

  • Are issued to authorized adults (teachers, parents, or guardians)
  • May have usage limits
  • May expire
  • May be revoked at TNY’s discretion

Misuse of approval codes may result in suspension or termination of access.

5. Copyright Policy (DMCA)

Tapestry of New York respects intellectual property rights.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification including:

  2. Identification of the copyrighted work
  3. Identification of the allegedly infringing material
